Applications :
Posnetronics has developed solutions for a variety of clients, and works with both the end user for industrial applications and equipment and manufacturers for development.

Examples of applications :
Industrial supervision. Development and configuration of SCADA systems in a variety of applications - Metallurgy, Oil, Laboratory. Development of special add on features to enhance the capabilities of standard SCADA systems.

Industrial controller applications :
Programming and configuring of process control equipment, in general using proprietary languages and tools. Examples of languages used are Forth, ST (Structured Text), SFC (Sequential Function Charts), FST().

Networks and communications :
Development of drivers to interconnect supervisory systems to industrial process equipment. Development of gateways and protocol converters. Interface between different computer systems (for example VAX Pathworks to Windows NT).

Instrumentation :
Enhancements to proprietary industrial networks based on token-passing bus and Arcnet. Development of a suite of POST (power on start-up tests) for industrial process equipment. Software for programming PROM and Flash memories.

Tools :
The majority of applications are developed using C or C++, but we have experience in Pascal as well as assembler language programming using Intel and Texas processors. Developments are carried out in a PC environment, either directly for Windows applications, or using cross-compilers for embedded applications.
